Forge Prototyping, LLC , was formed in early 2016 by Chris Gorman,  a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.  Chris discovered his love for tinkering and problem solving during his studies at UA, between his collaboration with fellow engineering and computer science students, and his favorite hobby of making an idea into something tangible.

That fascination naturally led to the purchase of his first 3D printer.  It quickly developed into what we know today as Forge Prototyping, LLC, where Chris wants his customers to feel the same sense of accomplishment making their ideas a reality as well.
